Doing Just A Simple Exercise For Sciatica

Difficulty:
Small

There is a simple sciatic nerve exercise that has helped many people find sciatic pain relief. It's an easy exercise you can in just minutes at home. Done several times daily, this exercise will soon produce a noticeable difference.

Before getting into the details of this simple exercise for sciatica, I want to make one thing clear up front. Your sciatica pain will be reduced noticeably. In some cases, people report that this exercise has virtually eliminated their pain. Just getting rid of the pain does not solve your whole problem. Everything that has been causing your sciatica problems is still there. You may have relieved the pain, temporarily, but you haven't solved the problem. Don't stop now because your sciatica pain would likely come back.

If you want to test out an easy sciatic nerve workout, here's the one for you. Stop if you feel pain during this exercise. The purpose here is to make you feel good.

While laying on your back, bend you knees and lift the leg on the side of the pain. Cross your leg over on top of your other leg and bring it all the way over so that your top knee rests on your bottom knee.

Curl up slightly so that you can grab your opposite knee - the lower knee - with both hands. Slowly pull the knee towards your body, then stop when you feel a good stretch. Hold this position for several seconds before slowly returning to your starting position. Do several of these sciatic exercises in a row and repeat three times a day.
