On June 27 and 28 we will systematically work on making Drupal easier to use. Focussing on known issues as found in three usability lab tests, mostly in areas currently untouched by the proposals in the D7UX framework.
Multi-disciplined teams work around defined topics (menus, blocks, taxonomy, interface copy and modules page)
We would like all attendees to research the topics they are assigned to. Although we have picked out a couple of issues we would like to see fixed at this weekends sprint - there are still many issues to be resolved. Make sure to take a look at the following information sources :
UX Sprint : The Plan
Baltimore test results
Usability tag
Issues tagged with difficulty hard, are usually abstract patches that have patterns which can be applied elsewhere. We tried to avoid issues that require a lot of discussion and instead focused on issues that are critical in a users experience, which are relatively easy to fix. To give a couple reminders :
- Office opens at 10AM.
- You will need to take the bus, directions.
- Stores are closed on Sunday.
- Around 23°C/73°F with rain.
We hope to see you soon!
